How to focus on God and be a good healthcare worker

I gave an opening message at Cru medical welcome tea for medical & nursing freshman at Yong Loo Lin school of medicine. Freshman who were interested in a christian medical ministry were invited. It was held on 13 Aug 15.

My message was on "How to focus on God and be a good healthcare worker" I had the following points

Odds of the freshmen entering medicine
Medicine is a noble profession
Jesus was a teacher and healer
Pay is good and sufficient though not as high as lawyers of finance industry
William Osler " Medicine is a science of uncertainty and an art of probability "
But God does not play dice Proverbs 16:33
How to train as a Dr? Study hard, see patients, present cases, get criticized, Lots of tests and exams. Suffer a lot. Needs discipline and dedication.
Training is tough for the next 10 years but worth it
Growing as a Christian also needs training. It is not natural. Read the bible, pray, obey and practice God's commands. Go through lots of tests and exams called trials, temptations and tribulations. Suffer a lot. Needs discipline and dedication.
If a famous HOD offered you a coveted residency position would you take it?
Romans 8:17. God has offered us a position as co-heirs with Christ
Student years are the best years to grow spiritually.

Church camp June 2015

I was busy with some course work hence my absence for the last few months. I was the church doctor once again for my chuch camp from 16 to 20 June. The venue was at Thistle hotel Johore. I have attached my equipment list and consult notes. Fortunately few church members were sick this time.
