15/8/2014 A Journey HalfwayI began my Family medicine fellowship course in June 2013. It is a 2 year course, intensive, with lots of assignments. I am slightly pass the mid point of the course. Course work is getting heavier, culminating with an exit interview in July 2015. This morning I reflected on my progress and was amazed how God has enabled me all this while. I wrote a poem to thank and praise Him.
Titled : A Journey Halfway A Journey Halfway T’was a journey that began last June Knowledge & wisdom was its tune Like a boat set sail for distant shore I began with great expectation and awe The sea started quiet By quarter way it became a riot I rowed hard with no progress Then came from Heaven a wind that bless The wind filled the sail Pushing my boat forward on its trail Gust after gust the blessings came No, not by my strength I can claim The next half journey will be tough Storms and seas a rough With hope my boat will hold Till journey end, will love for Him and truth makes me bold Comments are closed.
